Giant Cicada

The Giant Cicada is one of the largest of its kind, found in the tropical forests of Indonesia. Known for its distinctive shape and clear, veined wings, it’s often heard before it’s seen—its familiar call a steady part of the forest soundscape during warm seasons. This specimen has been ethically sourced through responsible breeding programs that support the conservation of local ecosystems.

Classified as A quality, this Giant Cicada may have minor imperfections that can only be seen upon close inspection with the naked eye. Although it appears nearly flawless, the small details show its natural life and growth.

Mounted by hand in a black wooden frame with clear, premium glass, the cicada is presented with care and simplicity. The frame measures 25 x 25 cm, has a depth of 4 cm, and weighs approximately 1 kg. A white passe-partout surrounds the specimen, with a printed label displaying its scientific name and origin. The frame is ready to hang and includes a stand for shelf or desk display.
